Autumn Allotment Update

Huge thank you to Peter Newton for spending the last few weeks fixing, making and repairing and reskinning our poly tunnel, the new cover is on, we've installed rain water capture gutters that feed both our pond and water butts. Thanks to all our volunteers for helping with all the other tasks like scraping off the old plastic from the poles, moving things from a/b, podding beans and our usual harvest tasks.

We celebrated with a brilliant harvest of flowers, tomatoes, beans, grapes, greens and a lovely lunch made by Kate.

We meet once a month for our official work party but our regular volunteers have put a lot of hours in behind the scenes and it's worth it for moments like this!
