Nottingham Organic Gardeners

Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners.

We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

Talk: Introduction to Permaculture

  • The Polish Eagle Club Clumber Avenue, Sherwood Rise Nottingham (map)

Speaker: Samantha Woods of Graceworks Leicester, a Permaculture Project in Leicester city that enables communities to live happy healthy lives in the limits of our planet. Graceworks demonstrates a model for sustainable livelihood – that is, to make a living without damaging the health of the environment, the economy, the community or the individual. Graceowork's aim is to strengthen local communities and make them more resilient. Contributing to the creation of a sustainable and just food system.
Permaculture is the creative design of an ecologically sound way of living in our households, gardens, communities and businesses. It is created by cooperating with nature and caring for the earth and its people.
