We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Talk: Roger Tanner on "Bagthorpe Gardens and the demand for land."

Roger Tanner is an allotment holder on Bagthorpe Gardens, and a local historian. He’ll be covering the origins of the allotments in the 1840s, the role of James Orange and the Chartists. This promises to be a interesting and timely look at the origins of some of Nottingham’s most unusual allotments.
