Nottingham Organic Gardeners

Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners.

We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

Extra-Ordinary General Meeting and Fresh Ideas Session

This event replaces our usual September Tuesday meeting as it has had to be moved to later in the month and on a Monday. This is due to previous long-standing bookings at the Federation Club. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope we will see you there at both meetings and back at our usual 2nd Tuesday in the month for November and December.

Extra-ordinary General Meeting – the emphasis is on ‘Extra’. The committee would like to propose to move the AGM to April in 2020, in order to give more time for new committee members to get established. We felt that it would be democratic if we also gave members an additional opportunity to come onto the committee at the EGM and to re-elect a committee, rather than simply carrying on for an extra 4 months.

After the short EGM we will be having a ‘Fresh Ideas Session’ on what you would like NOGs to do in the future, plus an extra-ordinary raffle with some even bigger prizes than usual.

Venue: Ukrainian Federation Club, No.47 Claremont Road, NG5 1BD, at 7:15 for 7:30pm.

Earlier Event: September 10
Talk: Postponed to Monday September 23rd
