Nottingham Organic Gardeners

Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners.

We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

'An Introduction to Organic Gardening' - online Talk (Zoom) w/ Pauline Pears

FREE TALK for members

Are you keen to grow organically, but are unsure quite what organic gardening actually means – other than it is good for your health, and the planet?

Then this is the talk for you. A practical introduction to organic gardening – for all gardeners. It will also debunk some of the myths and misinformation on the subject that are common on social media.

Pauline Pears worked for many years for Garden Organic (previously HDRA), running their garden advice service, writing many books on organic gardening, and occasionally appearing on TV. She is now a popular speaker on all things organic.

She also runs 5 allotments, and makes a great deal of compost!
