Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners. 

 We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

 We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture. 

 We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme. 

 Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

Work Parties

Come and dig with us!

​Garden Workparties on the Whitemor allotments are every other Saturday and every other Monday, both 10am - 2pm. The work parties are run by our Chief allotment officer Ros Pither who also manages to make the lunch! It's good fun so why not come and do an hour - or more if you wish. We're equally happy for members and non-members alike to pop in to see how the plot is progressing, ask questions or just have a chat!

​There is plenty for everyone to do so whether you like making compost, sowing seeds or just having a look at a garden we'd love to welcome you. We have a polytunnel and a cabin on site so the inclement weather is never a problem.

Please wear suitable clothing and bring your gardening enthusiasm. Tea and coffee provided. Hot vegetarian lunch is also provided to volunteers. ​
