Nottingham Organic Gardeners

Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners.

We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

Talks and Meetings

St John’s Church

MANSFIELD ROAD, CARRINGTON NG5 2DP

We have monthly meetings in Autumn, Winter and Spring by organic gardeners or experts in a field of interest. We have had talks on BioChar, Slugs, Beekeeping and Gardening in Greenhouses to name a few. Talks are held on the second WEDNESDAY of the month at 7.30pm. Please check our events for more information. If our events page seems a little sparse send us an email to contact@nogs.info and we can send you an email update of whats coming up.

Workshops and Volunteer days

Whitemoor Allotments

Wilkinson Street, Nottingham NG8 5FJ
Close to Wilkinson Street Tram stop

The NOGs Demonstration Allotment is used by members and gardeners and we meet here every other Saturday and alternate every other Mondays. Have a look at our Meet-up page for these repeating dates.

The garden is at Whitemoor Allotments, on Wilkinson Street - see maps above and below. The garden can be found by entering the main allotment gate, heading to the car park, turn right in the car park and we are the allotment in the far right corner. See allotment map below.

The Wilkinson Street tram stop is only a minute away, and buses number 78 and 79 stop five minutes away on Nuthall Road.

Please note that as this is an allotment site it is not normally open to the public. The best way to see our allotment is to come on one of our open days, or on one of our regular workdays (working not compulsory, we are happy to chat!). See our Calendar for dates.
