Nottingham Organic Gardeners

Welcome to Nottingham Organic Gardeners.

We are a voluntary organisation, a friendly group in Nottingham, open to all.

We aim to promote organic and sustainable gardening, and a more localised food culture.

We have an Organic Demonstration Garden at Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham and hold regular talks, workshops and events with an organic theme.

Please note we cannot endorse or recommend specific gardening suppliers, businesses or growers.

Talk: The History of Allotments

  • Polish Eagle Club Sherwood Rise Nottingham, England, NG7 6JE United Kingdom (map)

Sally is a treasure trove of information about plants and gardening! She specialises in restoring historical gardens and designing for people wanting an unique experience, for example a tropical garden in the Midlands! She has a long association with Garden Organic (formerly HDRA) and designed the Cuban Garden at the gardens at Ryton on Dunsmore, Warwickshire.

As Nottingham has the oldest large allotment site in Europe, it will be interesting to put this in context.

All are welcome - it's free to NOGs members and £2 to visitors, and you can join on the evening.

Venue: The Polish Eagle Club, Clumber Avenue, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham
